  • Q: What if I cannot find a service listed on your site?

    Call us. Every job is different, and locksmith technicians in our network are very capable. Just because you do not see a service listed on our site does not mean it isn't something that can be done. The only way to know for sure is to call and ask.

  • Q: Is it possible to have one key that opens every door in my house?

    Yes, this is very possible. If you have a key that slides completely into each and every lock, locks only need to be re-keyed. Otherwise, you may have to do lock replacements. Either way, it is a quick service that locksmith technicians provide.

  • Q: What is a master key?

    A master key, like it's name suggests, can open a set group of locks. Where a regular key can open only one door, a master key can open any door in a group that belongs to it.

  • Q: I lost/broke the remote control key for my car. Are you able to help me?

  • Q: A family member lost a key. Do I need to have all our locks replaced?

    No. Most of the time locks can be re-keyed. This service is faster and cheaper that complete lock replacements throughout you house.

  • Q: I typically have to wiggle my keys into the locks before I can open them. Why is this?

    Locks age over time through repeated use, as the inner lock cylinder is worn. Plus, many times the key your using has been copied and may even be a copy of a copy. This is why you have to wiggle the key in order to open the lock.

  • Q: Why shouldn't I just buy hardware at my local home center and replace the locks myself?

    This is really a question of time and quality. You may not have the time nor know-how to replace hardware through out your house. And often, the types of lock hardware you will find at home centers will be of lower-grade security at worst, residential quality at best. Typically, it is not much more expensive to have a professional complete the job for you, and you get the reassurance that the locks were installed correctly and can keep out intruders.

  • Q: Can I purchase lock picking tools?

    No. In most states it is illegal to sell or own lock breaking tools. Neither nor technicians in our network will be able to sell you these tools, and anyone who does should be highly suspect.
